March-Contest-Report of DF0MTL-Crew:
In the march-contest 2003 our mtl-crew was again on mt. Hirtstein in JO60om and we had not so many snow as last years, more problems with water and muddy ground in 892m asl. Most time we had fogg and rain on sunday mornig, so it was not easy to make some microwave qsos. No 24GHz-qso in the log... The conditions was very down but on most QRGs we made our best results for march-contests. On 144 MHz we worked with only 2x 8 el yagis (made by DL2UX) +300 Watts and on 70cm with one yagi (14wl) + 300 Watts. OM Tilo had a new idea with 4 x Moxon-antennas. He was testing this system, but not runnig during contest time.
